Risenine Records (AI E-commerce App)
ARCHITECTURE & WIREFRAMES Frustrated with the slow, outdated experiences on eBay and Discogs, I set out to design a modern, faster platform for buying and selling vinyl records while building community. Working with Claude, I defined the overall architecture, site map, and initial wireframes for core flows. The speed and quality of the AI-assisted exploration opened my eyes to what's possible when combining human insight with modern tools. Quickly building a working prototype of a full product became a reality.
UI EXPLORATION WITH AI Once the wireframes were finalized, I experimented with the newly released Claude Design tool. While the initial outputs were not fully aligned with my vision and token limits quickly became a constraint, I adapted by designing the complete UI in Figma and then collaborating with the plan to have Claude Code to implement and prototype the flows when complete. This hybrid approach began by using Claude as my Art Director during the design process.
FINAL DESIGNS & PROTOTYPING I designed the complete UI in Figma, focusing on craft, consistency, and speed. While I considered building a full style guide, I prioritized testing the viability of the concept by exporting designs and collaborating with Claude Code to generate functional prototypes. Starting with a single flow, I fed Claude high-fidelity PNGs and iterated through multiple rounds of testing and refinement. The process required strong art direction, product knowledge, and patience, but the results were highly effective. This hybrid approach enabled me to rapidly build out the full user flows from initial designs to interactive prototypes.
