Broadvoice: b-Hive UCaas app

Challenge: Broadvoice provided cloud-based business communication services, focusing on VoIP phone systems, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) for small to medium-sized businesses. While at Broadvoice we built the first version of their communicator app. It enabled a single phone service app for calling, video, text, collaboration, voicemail and fax, that allowed users to always have a line of communication for their customers and teammates.
I started by working with Product to build out the basic wireframes and flows the app would need. Chat, calls, profile, channels. groups, search, history, contacts and channels.
Once we had all of the flows and features completed in wireframes we moved on to visual design.
We delivered this product pretty quickly. Maybe in under 2 months. That's a benefit with working with a small team that is aligned. The biggest battle I remember was right aligned navigation vs left aligned. I had my preference but sometimes you have to pick your battles.
